cater to two different types of weddings:
The Basic Wedding Entertainment package was created based on bride and groom suggestions when many of the standard trappings of a wedding are not required or desired. Keeping announcements and introductions, but otherwise based on a corporate party, this first package strips the extra labor, DJ skill set, and gear usually associated with weddings and scales it back to that of a regular party and reduces costs considerably in the process. This includes some important essentials:
A top shelf, professional two speaker sound system with crystal clear sound and wired microphone for announcements. • Four hours of playing time (and roughly five additional hours of work that go on behind the scenes in support of the event) • With this basic package, you would be booking us as a company first, and several weeks before the event, one of our DJ Party Professionals, would be assigned to your reception and would contact you to review the flow you would like.
• Our extensive all digital CD library with thousands upon thousands of proven hits.
• A top shelf, professional two speaker sound system with crystal clear sound.
• A Sound Choice DJ party professional would be assigned to your event several weeks in advance of your event, one with years of proven experience at keeping a party moving, which will provide dance sets and make announcements and introductions as needed with a wired microphone.
• Phone consultation with the happy couple so the DJ can introduce him or herself and become familiar with the flow of the day and the style you would like, using itinerary sheets to help setup the flow of the day and customize the music selection.
• By focusing on these essentials, this package cuts down greatly on costly gear and prep time, allowing for substantial savings. Best of all, you still have the piece if mind of knowing you are going with Boston’s award winning Sound Choice Events.
Our most popular wedding DJ option, the Sound Choice Standard Wedding Entertainment package has all the perks, preparations, and precautions provided at New England’s finest weddings. With this option you are guaranteed our best wedding specialists, on site back-up equipment, consultations, and dedicated web tools to update your wedding plans. Both packages have crystal clear sound and top shelf equipment, however the Standard wedding has the following enhancements not available in the Basic:
• An upgrade to five hours of playing time(plus roughly fifteen hours of prep work behind the scenes, roughly twice the Basic)
• An upgrade to a customized laptop based sound system
• Our all digital laptop systems have a much more extensive library- almost ten times as many (90,000+!) songs
• An upgrade to a Sound Choice Wedding Specialist as your DJ- a seasoned wedding pro with a minimum of eight years experience at weddings.
• We also provide a second complete DJ sound system, as on-site backup, just in case, for your special day. That’s two full systems we dedicate to your event with the Standard package.
• Wireless microphone-an expected feature at a standard wedding, this allows for toasts, words of welcome, and other announcements wherever you, your guests or your MC might require.
• Your own on-line wedding planner, updated to our offices in real time and password protected, with a separate area where guests can put in their requests.
Our Standard Wedding Disc Jockey package delivers our award winning wedding specialists, roughly twenty hours of labor, on site back-up sound system, private web planning page, consultations and more.
We can also provide an additional system for ceremony, and we also offer combined entertainment packages that include DJing your after-party, and\or rehearsal dinners, and engagement parties. We also offer breathtaking custom wedding lighting including your initials in lights on the dancefloor, tasteful uplighting surrounding the room, and more.
 Uplighting solutions. Give your entire venue a beautiful romantic hue with our customized Up-lighting packages. We can light your entire venue with the soft abient touches of your wedding colors, right down to stage lighting projecting your innitials on the dancefloor in lights- including the customized font to match your invitations. Better still, we carry the latest intelligent wedding lighting that can turn the whole room different colors through out the night- and can creat a high end light show for the dancing segment.
